Our Marketing Manager/Volunteer Co-ordinator

On graduating from Edinburgh University, Anne went to work as a volunteer with the Church of Scotland in Sialkot, Pakistan. She then spent the next 20 years living in 10 different countries because of her husband’s job in the oil industry. On returning to Scotland, she worked briefly as a project manager for a business solutions company before taking up a teaching post at Jewel and Esk College. Anne and her husband ran a Guest House for several years but sold it in 2015.
She is an elder at Duddingston Kirk where she has been very involved in setting up a Garden Room café as part of the Glebe Project there.

While we do employ a Marketing Manager/Volunteer Co-ordinator for a few hours a week, we are very dependent on volunteers to produce the cards. We have a team in Edinburgh and two teams in Forres who meet weekly, fortnightly or as required to cut, fold and laminate the printouts, thus producing the cards.

From time to time we have had volunteers helping with administration, marketing, and with graphic design. The Trust has an Equal Opportunities Policy, and has particularly welcomed disabled or disadvantaged volunteers, including those of other nationalities.
