 |
This very day in David's town your Saviour was born - Christ the
Lord!
|
 |
The snow lay on the ground,
The star shone bright,
When Christ our Lord was born
On Christmas night.
|
|
 |
His
name shall be
the Prince of Peace, For evermore
adored.

 |
No
star on earth
Guides us to Love.
The Star above
Proclaims our worth.
|
 |

"Glory
to God in the
highest heaven,
and peace on earth to
those with whom he is

We
see the days are hastening on
Which prophets had foretold
When with the ever-circling years
Come round the age of Gold,
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendours fling,
And the whole world give
back the song
Which now the angels sing.
|
 |
The
first Christmas saw
the greatest of all gifts.
The Father send the Son
to be the Saviour
of the world.
