Why are your cards produced in this form?

The Trust realised that the newly emerging ink jet technology would dramatically reduce the cost of colour work. However, ink runs when wet therefore it was essential to laminate the cards. This also has the advantage of creating a very portable and durable card.

Why are your cards not sold?

We are determined to ensure that it is the Word of God that is valued, not our cards. By making the cards available we are encouraging people to pass them on to others. If you do a search for Scripture Cards on the Internet, you will find that the Amos Cards are extraordinary good value compared to other cards. We do not allow the cards to be used for fund raising. We do allow the cards to be sold in certain Christian Centres where books and other items are for sale.

How are your cards used?

There are many ways to use our cards. One of the most important ways is to carry a small selection of cards with different texts in your wallet or purse, ready to give to someone who needs help and encouragement from the Word of God. Ministers also ask for a particular card or a custom card (see customised cards) to illustrate a particular point in a sermon. Each member of the congregation is given a card. Elders and church visitors take the cards to elderly who rarely manage to get to church. Cards are given to children in the Sunday School. Hospital chaplains have them available for patients and relatives. They have a particularly important use in Alpha courses.

Which are your most popular cards?

It is more important to us that the words on the cards have the power to bring people closer to the Lord than that they are popular. We have distributed over 1000 each of V100, V118, V201, V203 in the Pastoral Catalogue. Many of the Children's cards are new, however V411, V510, V601, and V604 have been available for several months and have proved very popular. In St George's West, where the work of the Trust started, over 12,000 cards have been taken.

How do I order Cards?

The easiest way is to order online. Use the links to view our cards or go straight to 'online ordering'  After completing your order, you will be taken to the 'online' donation' form. This form gives you the option of donating by credit card or sending a cheque. The donation can be in dollars or pounds sterling. If you wish to delay your donation, click on the email button on the donation form, and let us know of your intentions. If you have a very limited income you may still order cards, but we ask you to restrict your order to not more than 30 cards. At present, because of the number of orders that we are receiving, we have set a maximum of 20 for each individual card. If you require more than 20 of a particular card or a card is out of stock, email us giving the card reference e.g. PV100, and we will try to come to some arrangement with you.

Do I have to order a minimum quantity of cards?

No there is no minimum quantity. If you are uncertain about the appropriateness of the cards we suggest that you order five different cards and discover the response from the people you give them to. We know that non Christians keep cards in their wallets and purses for months and years, referring to the words on them regularly. If you have favourite texts that are not in our catalogues, why don't you ask for customised cards?

How do I order a custom card?

First it is a good idea to See examples of our Customised Cards. Then go to our Order customised card web page. If you are sending us a picture, this can be included as an attachment to the email (we prefer files to be in pcx format, resolution 300 dpi, size 2"*3"). Alternatively, post the print to us. The print will be returned after you have approved the sample we send you. Design work is freely provided by our Trust, therefore there is no need to give a greater donation than you would give for our catalogue cards.
