The year to March 1998 has been a financially solid one for the Trust. Although
receipts are down on last year, the position is comfortable, with a balance of £2801 in
our accounts. Gifts are up on the previous year from £121 to £203. A Retiring
offering from St Georges West Church came to £91. Donations were £1383, down
£327 on the previous year. Income from sales was £273, an increase of £69 from the
previous year.
The principal new expenditure last year was the purchase of a laminator at £429. This
was financed through Amos Scripture Care Trust funds.
The Trust is operating comfortably within the original self-financing remit. However
the developments planned for the coming year are beyond our existing finances, and grants
from other Charitable Trusts will be sought.
