When I take out my cards I group them. For
instance, I put all the cards with pictures by Chris Logan
in one pile. While I do this I read the text, Proverbs are
easiest to remember. The pictures have always caught my eye.
I like pictures of animals on the cards. I especially like
Rosemary Davidson’s photo of a robin because I am a keen
bird watcher.
One evening when Bruce was round at my
house, he asked if he could make my ‘Help a friend to
smile’ picture into a card. It was very exciting.

You may not know this, but you can get a
card made for a friend. Last year two of my friends were
leaving school so I chose two suitable pictures and a
good text. They really liked them. This year my Granny
is having a card made for her birthday. It has a picture
of a stair in the house where she used to live. The text
is the story of Jacob’s ladder.
I like it when the Edinburgh Festival
comes because there are cards produced in French or
German especially for tourists. I can swot up on these
two languages.
Giving a card to a friend is a good
way to share your faith. Thank you, Bruce and your
teams, for making such attractive cards.
