Our new Trustees


Eric Ridehalgh MBE

Eric joined the membership of St Giles High Kirk, shortly after moving from Yorkshire. He was active as a team steward for Sunday Services. He was also involved in fund raising events and was convenor of St Giles Fair held in Parliament Square. In 1988 he joined St George's West church and a year later formed the Friends of St George's West. He held the position of Secretary of the Scottish Licensed Trade Association for 27 years. In 1996 he was awarded the MBE. After his retirement he was invited to become Secretary of the United Kingdom and Ireland Licensed Trade Association.

 
Rev. Gillian Morton MA, BD, PCE

Gillian was born in Worcestershire - hence her lifelong passion for cricket - and attended a Methodist school in Devon; an experience which was to shape her theological outlook. After studying at St Andrews University and the Free University, Berlin. Back in Scotland and with four children, Gillian became involved in the Play group movement and Play in Hospital, which combined with hospital visiting with the Friends of Dumfries Royal Infirmary. It was whilst she was a Chaplain at the Borders General Hospital that she began using the Amos Scripture Care cards with patients, staff and visitors to the hospital. 

 
Dr Josephine Munthali 

Josephine is a Malawian currently living in Edinburgh and working for the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) in Glasgow as an Africa Project Officer for East Africa and the Horn. She completed her PhD at Edinburgh University in 2001. Dr. Munthali is also a Trustee Member for the Calvary Family Church which is a Malawian church based in Nottingham.
