Personally,
I have enjoyed this past year very much as part of a
lively group of Trustees. There is a lot of enthusiasm
about the card ministry as we exchange ideas and
explore the way forward.
My fellow Trustees and I have come to recognise the extraordinary power of the Amos cards and it is heart-warming to know that God's Word, presented in this way, is attractive to people from all walks of life. As the Trust is becoming increasingly known, the uptake and demand for cards is growing and so the work is steadily expanding. One of our major objectives is to encourage church people to pass on appropriate cards to those outwith the church who may be less aware of God's love for them. It is good to see that this is happening increasingly and, although the outcome may never be fully known, we hear now and then of how the cards have helped in particular circumstances. This is most encouraging for the givers and the Trustees alike. How good it is that God's hand is pleased to touch the lives of both those who pass on His message and those who receive it through these delightful cards. Elinor Jones |
