"We Are A Light"

I take this Bible, on which I now stand

I proclaim His Word across the land

In this darkness I am a light

A light that shines throughout the night

The night is long, and the darkness is great

But fear not, be bold, and don’t hesitate

So pull out your Bible, your sword to fight

And use it to fight the demon of night

Let’s cut him right down, let’s make him bleed

Let’s claim the harvest, let’s plant the seeds

If we will go forth with the truth and the light

No chance does he have, this demon of night

Let’s tell of God’s mercy and His love so great

Tell of His salvation before it’s too late

The harvest is ready, but the workers are few

Can you hear God calling? He’s talking to you

He says, "Go forth, my child, I give you my love.

I give you my power from heaven above"

Now is the time. Be bold and fight

Tell of His mercy and His love so bright

So now take your Bible on which you now stand

And proclaim His Word across the land

Because in this darkness you are a light

A light that shines in the darkness of night
