| I have been working for Amos
Scripture Care Trust for 3 years now. This has been an interesting and enriching
time. I
have been involved in several aspects of production of the cards and am now working as the
assistant administrator. One of the aims of the trust is to help people with mental health problems by providing an opportunity to work. I came along in the first instance suffering from clinical depression. This had severely inhibited my ability to work. Getting involved with the cards helped me to regain confidence in my abilities again, by providing a fulfilling activity to engage in. The Trust manufactures the scripture cards from start to finish. Being involved with a team gives all producers a meaningful role in the production process. It is satisfying to be involved in creating the final product and seeing the final destination of the cards. The teams work to a high standard and quality control is an important part of the work.
