There came a dark time of deep depression where she felt totally and utterly alone.  In the darkness the Lord reassured her He was still there.  Though her mind said He had left her, her heart spoke to her differently.  That is when the poetry started.  In the darkness, the light and love of God sown in her heart showed itself on paper for her eyes to read.

As she gradually came out of her depression, her poetry started to change.  She began to write more uplifting poetry, like "Praying for an Ulcer" and "Do You know".  She says "When a person has passed through the Red Sea of grief and pain, how can anyone not Love the one who parted the Red Sea so I could walk to safety on dry ground?" As each day goes by her love and trust in the Lord grows , knowing her life is in His hands.
