"My Heart’s Satisfaction"

Forever faithful and always by my side

I feel His love surround me, and my heart is satisfied

Satisfied to know no longer need I fear

Satisfied to know a friend, MY friend is always near

So yes, I am satisfied

Yes, I still stumble and yes, I still fall

But no matter where I go, He will always hear my call

His love is a protection when I just can’t go on

His love is a joy He has placed in my heart

And puts "feeling" in all my songs

So Yes, I am satisfied

I am satisfied to know perfect I don’t have to be

I just let my heart become your home and then you work in me

I have the satisfaction of knowing a devil’s hell I have escaped

I will live with Jesus forever in a glorious and wonderful place

So yes, I am satisfied

This satisfaction is in my heart and His word is in my mind

But the truest satisfaction is knowing,..

Jesus, I can now call mine

So Yes, I am satisfied

Yes, I am free to claim Him

I do so in many ways, but to tell you how much I love Him

My friend, that would take years and even,.. then more days

So yes, I am satisfied

I love all He has done, changes performed within my heart

It used to be a rotten core, look now,..it is a heavenly part

A part you say? How odd to choose that word

Not odd at all or strange a bit, but unique in charm.

So stay and listen for a bit.

This love is unconditional, He will never yell or scream

Or ever make one cry

And when I fall He helps me up and with a kiss brushes

the tears from my eyes

So yes, I am satisfied

So my heart is part of His kingdom, I am a tool in His hand

He uses me to show His grace, you can see it all in His love

Just look deep within my eyes, and there you will see His face

So yes, I am satisfied

I want no glory or praise, I just continue to run this race

I did not do it, all this love and peace you see

This comes from the satisfaction, I was given by Jesus

Which he died for on the cross at Calvary

So yes, I am satisfied

So I will follow where He leads me, doing my best to obey

I will hold dear to my satisfaction for Jesus sent it my way

Not to my Dad, Grandma, or Brother,

Though they can have it too

This satisfaction is a gift of love from Jesus to me,..

And it can also be for you.

So yes, I am satisfied.
