"Praying
for An Ulcer"
By:
Angie Mullenix
I
am praying for an ulcer,
What? That is ridiculous you say.
It is not any more ridiculous
Than you worrying all the day
You
worry about the weather, the cars, and the bills
Not trusting in our Savior,
His promises to fulfill
"Who
of you by worrying can add an hour to your
life?"
This world is hard enough
Don’t add more pain and strife
You
always have a headache,
You say your getting old
You don’t know how to make ends meet,
You wish you had some gold
God’s
arm has not shortened
He has not fell asleep
He made a vow to meet your needs
His promises He will keep
He
sees the birds and flowers,
Yet they do not reap or sow
And yet out God feeds them,
All their needs He already knows
Have
faith in God and what He says,
He will never lie
He promised he would care for you,
Your needs He will supply
So
quit praying for an ulcer
Jesus doesn’t have any of them
If you really want an ulcer,
Go talk to the author of all sin
This
may have sounded crazy,
But listen to what I say
Nothing can you change,
By worrying all the day
Just
believe in God our Father,
He’ll do what he said he’d do
So believe in all His promises
Because He believes in, YOU!!
