James Version My friend made a beautiful lighthouse for her mother for her birthday. She said her mother said it was nice. My friend was disappointed, as she had put a lot of time, effort, and love into the gift. She told her mother she had made it for her. Her mother’s attitude changed. She looked at it closer and started telling everyone about the beautiful gift her daughter had made for her. One
day, God gave us the greatest Gift that anyone could ever give.
He wrapped His Beloved Son in a human form and sent Him to earth
on a mission. If you are a
parent, would you be willing to send your child on a mission knowing in
advance that your child would be tortured, ridiculed, spat upon, beaten,
and completely deserted by every person?
God
knew all this when He sent Jesus on the mission.
You might wonder why God, Who is Love, would send Him on the
mission. It is because Jesus
is the only One Who can satisfy God's requirements for a Perfect
Sacrifice. Jesus
paid the Price for us. The
debt has been paid in full. There
is nothing that you can do to earn a place in Heaven. All
your money, homes, and possessions can’t buy Heaven.
It is only through accepting the Price, the Precious Blood of
Jesus, that you can be assured of a Home in Heaven for Eternity. Joanne Lowe
